In this explosion, I used chunks of a sphere using Rayfire, and then added to an FumeFX Object Source to create the trails. I then used a spherical FumeFX source and two cylindrical FumeFX sources to create the main explosion. My goal for my upcoming explosions is to make them seem like explosions from incoming shells, grenades, mines, missiles, etc. I am also trying to perfect the dust/smoke trails from fragmentation. I believe explosions like this one could be used in a desert war scene, WWII scene, and possibly some type of mine scene for a movie. ![]()
